Terms and conditions
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Dutch Data Summit. Before you proceed to purchase tickets, we strongly recommend you to go through the following terms and conditions.
Please note that BigData Republic B.V. reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the website of the organizer. These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of Dutch Data Summit tickets.
Reservations through our website automatically guarantee a place at the Dutch Data Summit. You will receive a confirmation by email. Places cannot be reserved without full payment. All bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Price and payments
All ticket prices mentioned on our website exclude VAT. After making a reservation through our website, it is possible to settle the payment by iDeal or credit card. If you are not able to settle the payment by iDeal or credit card, please contact us so we can create an invoice with all bank details. That way you can settle the payment by bank transfer. Please note payment has to be settled within 14 days after reservation. For last-minute reservations payments must be settled within 3 days, or at least before, the event date. If payments are not made in time, BigData Republic reserves the right to cancel a reservation.
If you would like to cancel your ticket, please send an e-mail to email@example.com. The following cancellation policy is applicable:
In case of cancellations at least 60 days before the event date, no costs will be charged;
In case of cancellation within 60 days of the event but longer than 30 days before the event date, 50% cancellation fee;
In case of cancellation within 30 days before the event date or no-show, no refund.
If BigData Republic B.V. has to cancel the Dutch Data Summit in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, BigData Republic B.V. has the sole and absolute right to:
reschedule the event, or
issue a full refund.
BigData Republic B.V. does not accept responsibility for accident, injury, or loss suffered while attending an event, unless it is directly due to negligence by the organization.
BigData Republic will respect and apply all safety measures as announced by the local government, in order to prevent any COVID-19 infections. However, please note any interaction with the general public poses a risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event. BigData Republic B.V. is not responsible for the health and safety of this event. We encourage you to follow all safety policies, as well as local laws and restrictions. Moreover, if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we would kindly ask you not to attend the Dutch Data Summit in order to respect the safety of any other attendees.
